March 2007: Between Trips
March 16 - Fly to NZ
We flew from SFO to Auckland on and overnight flight and crossed the International Dateline. Emily did great on the flight and slept most of the 12 hours we were in the air.
March 15
Packing and preparing for our big trip to New Zealand!
March 14
The daycare search is over! We signed a contract with a a woman in San Ramon who meets all of my requirements. She's kind and loving, and is convenient and affordable. In the afternoon we went for a walk with with Erin, Audrey, Beth and Charlotte.
March 13

March 10 - 11
Tahoe weekend away with Erin and family. While Daddy went skiing at Heavenly, Mommy and Emily went for a walk with Erin and Audrey.
March 9
Emily had her 4 month checkup. We went a bit early because she'll turn 4 months old when we're in New Zealand. She is a healthy 12 pounds, 5 ounces and is 25 1/4 inches tall. She is very tall for her weight so she obviously taking after her Daddy's side of the family.
March 8
More daycare provider visits.
March 6
We took a walk with our Mom's Group friends and had lunch at Bagel St. Daddy joined us and got to meet the moms and babies.
March 5
The hunt for daycare is on! We visited 3 potential daycare providers.
March 4
We had a very social day while Daddy went skiing with Eduardo and Kris. For breakfast, Mommy and Emily meet with Beth, Tara and their families at Katie's Kitchen for Beth's birthday. After breakfast we did a short hike with Tara, Finn and Leif. Later, we had dinner with Erin, Dean, Audrey and Annika.
March 3
Grand Buffet lunch. Yumm!
