Sitting Pretty
Emily is now 6 months old and doing great. She can now sit on her own without support and is doing so for longer and longer stretches of time. She continues to enjoy tummy time and can move around a bit - she usually moves in a circle or straight back. Her coordination is improving and she's getting better at holding things. 
Let's Eat
Emily has been eating a variety of solid foods for more than a month. She's a good eater and likes almost everything she's tried. Her favorites are baby cereal and vegetables but she also likes some fruits, too. She loves to snack on Cheerios and we've been teaching her to drink from a sippy cup although it will be a while before she can manage that on her own.
Daycare
The transition to daycare went much more smoothly than I could have hoped. Emily loves her babysitter, Sirin, and enjoys seeing her and the other kids each weekday. The first week was difficult for both of us but now I can go to work and know that I don't have to worry about her.
