Learning to Crawl!
Emily is busy 7 month old. In the past couple of weeks she's gone from laying on her belly to getting up on her toes and hands to moving herself a few feet at a time army crawl style. It takes her a long time but she is focused and gets where she wants to go! She wants to check out everything, especially the things she's not supposed to have.
Learning to Swim!
Well, not quite learning to swim but she's learning to love the pool. Lessons are fun and Mom has learned several ways to hold Emily in the water and how to help her go underwater. The trick is to blow in her face which makes her hold her breath - then dunk quickly!
What She's Saying
Emily continues to be very "talkative" baby. She has added "Da Da Da" and "Ma Ma Ma" to her large vocabulary although she doesn't associate the words with us yet.
Other News
We just got a baby bike trailer for Emily so she can ride behind her Dad. She seemed to enjoy her first bike ride and looked like a little princess riding in her chariot!
