A North Carolina Family Vacation
At the beginning of October we flew to North Carolina to visit my family. While visiting Jen, Mike and Zack we joined Zack for some of his favorite activities: feeding the ducks, visiting the zoo and playing in his "beach box". At my parents' place we enjoyed relaxing at their beautiful and spacious log home and went jetskiing on the lake. During our visit we also caught up with some CT friends and family who drove 10 hours to see all of us in North Carolina.
Emily had a great time playing with lots of new things at Grandma's house including these birds that each sing a tune and go tweet tweet. She quickly learned how to "make the birdies sing" so we heard a lot of "Rockin' Robin" during the week.
Another favorite toy was Zack's big bear. It is so soft and cuddly that she was immediately drawn to it and gave the bear lots of big cuddles, sometimes burying her face in the plush fur.

Back at home
Emily did so well with Zack walker toys that we got her something similar when we got home. Here she's taking her new Pooh Bear Choo Choo for a walk. When she gets bigger she'll be able to sit on it and ride so this toy should last a while.
