Emily Rose Burge was born November 24, 2006 at 6:50 p.m. at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Walnut Creek, CA.

My parents were here for her birth, having arrived one day earlier from North Carolina. It was great to share that special time with them and we were very grateful for my mom's help with cooking, cleaning and baby care!
